Sheepgate
A small, local church reached out to me and requested that me and my team of full-stack developers at Give2Friends Foundation revamp their website. Because their user-base is on the older end, they wanted a website that was more accessible and visually pleasing. As a result, we started to create a new website that catered to their needs. It includes a clint-side and a server-side that would allow the church staff to upload blogs, photos, and videos using a user-friendly UI. We built the website using React, Tailwind, MongoDB, Express.js, and Node.js. We also had to incorporate various APIs in order to display things such as the map of where the church is located.
Deep Knowledge Tracing Explainable
I conducted research on Human-Computer/AI interaction for some time. During my research, I attempted to make Bayesian Knowledge Tracing (BKT) and DeepKnowledge Tracing (DKT) more accessible for the education field, which would optimize human and machine learning. I programmed Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) models that gamify DKT and BKT concepts and worked closely with research colleagues to gauge the effectiveness of the explainables.
Job Board Website
With a team of fellow full-stack developers, amidst our job hunt, we decided to make a job board website because it would be something that we would be able to relate to. As a result, we made a job search tool for users to find careers by location and occupation type. It includes a sorting and filtering function, a login and signup page, and a bookmarking feature. We built this program using React, TailwindCSS, MongoDB, Express.js, Node.js, and AdzunaAPI.
